Now that you have done all the hard work and you are ready to sell your home, ask the questions: "Is my home really ready to sell?". One of the best ways to test your home to make sure it is ready is to video tape it.
 
We have encountered many situations where our customers thought their home was ready. Once we took pictures of the home and put them on the web site, they realized that there were some improvements that needed to be done. It seems once you look at the pictures, you get a different perspective on your home.
 
So, go around your home with a video camera. Go through the home in an orderly fashion. Start in the foyer, move to the living room, dining room and kitchen. Go to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Then go to the basement making sure you get every room including the storage room. Finally, go outside and video the front and backyard.
 
Then, watch it!!!
 
What do you see?
 
Look at it how a prospective buyer would look at it. Be very critical when reviewing it. If something does not look right to you, it will not look right to a prospective buyer as well.
